The Concept 2 rower price Australia pays for a new machine has moved a lot since 2020. These figures were checked in October 2026 against Concept 2 Australia and authorised AU retailers, with delivery and floor stands excluded from both columns.
What you pay for when you buy new
Dealer margin, freight to Australia, GST and a factory warranty. The machine itself is the same object, built in the same place, to the same spec.
What you give up buying used
Nothing mechanical. Cosmetics vary, and we photograph every mark. Instead of a factory warranty you get ours: 7 days on arrival, 30 days on working parts.
When new actually makes sense
If you want a specific colour with zero marks, or a machine going into a commercial gym where the factory warranty matters. Those are real reasons. “It feels safer” is not.
The part that does not wear out.
Concept 2 builds these machines for gyms, where they run millions of metres before they need anything done to them. The parts that do wear, the chain, cord, seat rollers and batteries, are cheap and replaceable, and they have already been replaced before a machine is listed. What you are buying second-hand is the frame and the flywheel, the expensive part that does not wear out.

Every listing shows the grade, the wear and the price. Compare it to the new price and decide for yourself. We are not going to pretend a used machine is new.
