Description
A Concept 2 rower for sale in Perth, in black, showing under 15,000 metres on the PM5. It came from a private seller in Western Australia who bought it, used it a handful of times, and then stopped. It is graded B for handling marks, and mechanically there is nothing to report.
What we checked before it got a price
- Chain cleaned and lubricated, no stiff links.
- Flywheel spins free, damper clicks through all ten settings.
- Monorail cleaned, seat runs the full length without catching.
- Seat rollers inspected for flat spots.
- Footrests adjust both sides, straps clean and secure.
- PM5 powers on, holds a charge, pairs over Bluetooth and ANT+.
- Frame, legs and welds checked. Handling marks recorded and photographed.
- Test-rowed before listing.
Under 15,000 metres
Fifteen thousand metres is roughly a week of training for someone who is actually using a rower. Everything below the surface is effectively new: the chain is not stretched, the bearings have not been loaded, the flywheel has not been opened for cleaning.
What that means in practice is you skip the first round of maintenance a used rower normally needs and go straight to rowing. Concept2 builds these for commercial gyms where they run into millions of metres, so you are buying at the very start of the curve.
Buying from Perth
If you are in Western Australia, this is the machine to look at: you can collect from the workshop by appointment, row it before you pay, and take it home the same day in two pieces that fit a normal car. No freight, no wait, and no buying a machine you have only seen in photographs.
Interstate buyers are welcome too. Delivery is Australia-wide and quoted at checkout, and any buyer can ask for a walkaround video of this exact unit with the monitor switched on.
What $1,150 buys against new
A new RowErg is $1,705 direct from Concept2 Australia. At $1,150 this is $555 under, for a machine with under 15,000 metres on it. The new versus used page sets every model we sell against the new price so the comparison is in one place.

Delivery and warranty
Perth collection by appointment, or Australia-wide delivery quoted at checkout. Machines travel in two boxes with the bolts bagged and labelled. Timing and freight are on the delivery page.
Thirty days on working parts and seven days to return it if we described something wrongly. Full terms on the warranty page. The bench inspection is on the grading page, and if you are comparing this against the light grey Model D at $950, the difference is colour and metres.
What to look for in any used Model D
If you are shopping around, there are three things worth checking on any used Concept 2 before money changes hands. The chain should pull smoothly with no graunching at the cog. The damper should click through all ten positions and actually change the feel at the handle. And the monitor should hold a lifetime meters reading that matches what the seller told you.
The rest of the machine is hard to break. Concept2 has published the model identification and manufacturing dates for every generation on its indoor rower support pages, so you can date any machine from its frame and finish before you buy it.
Graded B. Under 15,000 metres, PM5 tested, Perth collection available. Handling marks photographed.
